right small update,

i stripped the back bumer off to waxoil it a bit, and that snowballed into the arch's coming off, they fell to bits like the front did so they got binned, and ive ordered some new ones

i rubbed out all rust, treated the steel primed it, then waxoild it
also re-sprayed the crash bar as it has some surface corrosion on it

and on a security point of view, unlike what someppl do is to improve there car and make it more desirable to thives, and leave the alarm and security to the last thing
my car,
cat 1 alarm and immob, duel immob, steering lock cat 2 steering lock, vaux alarm and immob, and vaux deadlocks

soon the windows will be film'd too call me paranoid but hey its my car i intend to keep it that way

you can just see the filter inside

looking inside it it did look well old so i guess itll cold start better and emissions from cold will be better, now my car has done 39k so i guess its never been changed, now all those cars with more milage on them???? have they been changed ever???
