best bet would be to leave the 6x9s and spend the money on a better set of components for the front. the amp and sub seeb ok tho. Head units nice.

dunno mate, but most people dont put them in anymore. there no real need for them, as long as the front components are up to the job it\'ll sound a lot better

fair enough i just prefer rear fill, as have heard speakers just up front in another car no rear feel, just didn\'t like it so gonna put something in rear just no 6x9s they just mess sound stage up beyond belief,

if you are going to do a \"proper\" rear fill install then it is not the speaker cone that is the issue here - it is more the volume level and the frequencies reproduced.

If i was considering rear fill (and in a small car like yours i wouldn\'t personally but each to their own) then i would ensure either passively or actively i engineered in a bandpass filter to limit the frequencies required to the midrange frequencies.

The reason for this is relatively simple - if the speakers are trying to play bass then you will end up with a conflict between your subs and get LESS bass. Bad thing. And if you have too much treble there, it is the most directional of sound and you will pull the soundstage back to the rear of the car.

If you have to do this passively the components would only cost about £5 from mapins and i can give you a wiring diagram for them.
