how to make my corsa rev higher?

how can i make my corsa rev higher? as it sometimes revvs below 500rpm when i slow down at the lights or something :S it sometimes feels as thought its going to stall, it gets really shakey but then slowly rises? is there a way i can change it so it wont drop or if it does make sure it is still higher than 1000? cheers!

i tried to change the ravv thing with an allen key a wile ago, didn\'t get any joy, and I\'m no mechanic

I have shift lights on mine and sumtimes when its doing this lil trick the shift lights go absolutely mental

with it fropping below it could be your idle speed control valve or something like that

when your car drops below 950 rpm usually your idle sped control valve is a tfault any garage should be able to sort this or you could do it yourself

hi guys. i am newbie from RSA. thought this interresting topic as i have had the same problem. did soem mods to my car and it started cutting out when i pressed the clutch in. at traffic lights the car would cut out. found it to be the idle control valve.
