Hi
My 1999 Corsa B x12xe engine is showing code P0100 mass air flow sensor voltage low, does this mean the sensor as had it ?
The details are (read with op com)
1 Temperature sensor output idle .950 mill volts 3000 rpm .830 m v
2 Input idle 5 volts 3000 rpm 5 volts
3 Good earth
4 Live feed in idle 14 volts
5 Output voltage idle 3.4 volts 3000 rpm 3.57 volts

I think its the output voltage that is bringing the code up, can this be repaired or is it a new sensor

Just had a look on euro parts web site and a mass air flow sensor is nearly £50 so I think your thinking of another sensor

don't go on the website because that's retail prices buddy, Honestly I've changed my air flow metre 3 times in 6 years and I've paid no more that 20 quid for one from euro car parts you go in store and 9 times out of 10 you get it at trade price,

Naths advice applies to all auto factors, just go to the counter and after they tell you the price just ask is that the best price and 9/10 the clerk will give you a discount
