My car was parked up for 5 months out of gear with the handbrake down and the brakes were seized solid!

 Brakes do like to seize on Corsa's! On mine, a couple of days with the handbrake on sees the rear brakes seized! :(

Gm chain engines love a good thick oil
Think it'll probably put a drop oil in her soon to keep her right. The scrapman says B engines will run for ages if looked after.

Just wanted to update, in case anyone was having the same problem. After posting, I check the car for water, which was very low. I dipped the oil, and no water was present so it's not a head gasket. I put it down to me having the heat on full blast all the time.

Topped the car with Coolant, it drunk half of it by the next morning, but because the water level was so low, it was just re-filling the radiator. Topped it up with water to full, and safe to say problem solved.

Air in your cooling system.
Does your temperature gauge fluctuate?

It was aye, would go from 90 to mid way then down again. I put this down to the lack of coolant. Would that be right enough?
