What size alternator do I have?

She's a 1.4 16v sport on a V (99) plate. I think the bearing goosed, so might be time for a new (or reconditioned) one but not sure what ampage I need.
If it's a std one it should be 55 amps
Some people use the diesel ones 70 amps
