Anyone know why my car sits higher at the back than the front? Got a full tank of diesel in there too! Image

Could it be the angle of the bottom of the rear bumper that gives the effect of it being higher?

I thought that but the arch gap at the rear is a lot bigger than the front

Looks like worn out springs at the front and newish springs at the back

Or it could have sport springs at the front, think there -15 or -20, there optional extra springs so they could have been fitted
If it doesn't fit,
force it,
If it breaks,
It needed replacing anyway

You should measure the sill to ground just behind the front tyre and in front of the rear

If it's more than 15mm the back won't settle enough to even it out
If it doesn't fit,
force it,
If it breaks,
It needed replacing anyway

Eibach 30mil springs are the done thing on the c, apparently much better quality and give a smoother ride than the sri 15mil springs

Barra has lowered his so he should be able to give you more info on how they handle/feel lowered

I've wanted a black facelift c for quite awhile now so I'm jealous of this, what's the plans for it

It's about time you came back to the good side as well :) just before your vw in drag was worth about 5p aswel
If it doesn't fit,
force it,
If it breaks,

I'm on 55mm lowering springs, seems to handle better and not as hard of a ride as I was expecting.

Plans at the min are just to get it running decent as in fix all the little problems with it. Then after that i will get the paint work sorted out. Needs a good machine polish and a very good detail...

Then it will be time to start nodding! First will be get some 17" Vauxhall alloys (I like the standard Sri alloys) and then fit some lowering springs to sort out the uneven ride.

I measured from ground to underside of the sill and on the front it was 17cm and the rear was 19.5cm so not sure what the problem is? Big drop for just having Sri springs but they don't look like lowering springs on the front...

Also the wheels that are on the car are steel wheel!!! Went to check wheel bolts the other day and only realised then when I grabbed a spoke and it bent in my hand... Was like 'what the f**k is this trickery?' Was gutted aha

What size alloys are you running barra?

The wheels I have are 16" and not big enough IMO. Originally had 16" steelies.

I think for a car this size needs wheels 17" or bigger to look right to be honest!

Definitely, I still want snow flakes but to expensive for what I can afford at the moment. Want to get away from black wheels as well tbh.

They break easily too... They suit your car thought! For me I'm staying silver with wheels :)
