Just bought a gsi steering wheel. I paid 25 quid for it, turned into 37 quid incl postage.

However it's arrived and in sure there's a contact ring missing! The one that provides the live to the horn.

It's also been cut off a car at some point and got a bit damaged..

Before I contact the seller. Will I be able to take a contact ring off a standard corsa b wheel? Would you be happy with the condition its in for the price I paid? I don't mind it's condition that much but I would like the horn to work haha

Yup. The centre boss is the same. You should be able swap thd bits over

Hmmm personally I hate feeling like av been ripped off over eBay coz its happened to me way to many times haha but if the description of the item says something such as like new or something along them lines the. I'd be contacting them especially when you can get the likes of a deep dish wheel for 35 quid on eBay and then maybe just buy a 12v universal button for the horn

If it wasn't described as it's actual condition I'd contact the seller and tell them your not happy and hopefully get a partial refund to cover the cost of parts

Should of said this wasn't an eBay purchase but I did pay with PayPal to cover myself.

Mostly looks okay, but when I saw the contact ring was missing I thought it was fubar. I've never owned a gsi so didn't know if it was something I had missed.

If I can use the contact ring from my original wheel I'll be happy with that
