Elec or heated/elec mirrors

Did the electric mirrors have a heating element fitted to them but just not used unless it was selected on the option pack?

Or did Vauxhall make elec mirrors and heated elec mirrors?

If it's the second one how can you tell the difference without having to dismantle the mirror..

I've got several set of wings mirrors in all kinds of colours but I dont want to start taking then apart of I can help it.

Well if they are heated I would expect you be able to see the wire connection to the Back of the glass

The wires just go off into the mirror can only see 100 or so mm of wire and the plug they connect with. If I was to strip them apart then yes I could probably see the wire to the glass but trying to avoid doing that haha

Just had a quick nose I've got three pairs that are electric but can't tell if any of them are heated or if they are all heated
