Alright. Just asking as my mum might be getting a 1.7td astra estate (1999). Think it has the izuzu engine.

The Isuzu engines are quiet a good engine just make sure you get the cam belt changed and its serviced reg
They are better than the common rail gm engine
The other thing that lets the Isuzu engine down is the head gaskets but apart from that they are a strong engine just a low on power but that can be sorted

Yeah I love the Isuzu diesel engines in the combo. My dad has one for a few years and all he has done with it was alternator and very recently the clutch. His is non turbo and I don't think it lacks power for the size of the engine tbh, never drove the TD though.

Sounds daft. I crashed my first B, my fault and went down £600.

When you claim on insurance even if it's not your fault it still puts the insurance up
My mate who has a body shop uses a claim company who do all the work so when you come to renew its like you never claimed its like getting one over on the insurance company's

This! No major plans tho, wind deflectors, pressed plates and tinted windows. Defo need some alloys. They look great lowered but wanting a family friendly car.

Keeping my eye out for some Vectra snow flake alloys, want the Sri headlights and ditch the Orange rears and side repeaters.

Woah that steering wheel looks so strange [emoji38] looks nice though! It looks like it needs to be slammed and blacked out [emoji38] but obviously it needs to be family friendly
