I'd imagine he ment rubber,

You tie it between the axle and exhaust so it doesn't knock, or at least you don't hear it knock
If it doesn't fit,
force it,
If it breaks,
It needed replacing anyway

No real update.

Spent this morning aligning the bonnet properly as it still wasn't right before, happy with it now.

Then cleaned the car and got some nice photos :)

I had such a fart on removing the old wheel because it's on a taper do my best advice to you is to break it do not hit the thread as I did and it tooke 2 hours to get them to catch on the bolt. Don't forget to put the spring back in before the wheel!! And to break the taper put a larger size long reach socket over the treads to touch the bottom and wack if as hard as you can a few times. Then recline your chair back out your feet on the dash and tug as hard as you can.leave the bolt on a bit so you don't catapult back. It's a badger to get off on a b haha

11/5/15

Bought some arches that have already been professionally smoothed an painted, currently are Arden blue but will be going Gloss black. Bought these as it will save me the time and hassle of removing the texture from mine.

Also got some high build primer.

Image

16/5/15
Arches and primer arrived earlier in the week, and got some gloss black paint and lacquer from halfords :)

Only got two done today, will be doing the others when its dry again.

when they arrived...

Image

removing the glue at the bottom from where he had the skirts was a nightmare :|

First one done..

hopefully wont be long before i can do the others.

17/5/15

Got the front bumper off ready to be prepped and painted this morning

Image

Image

Image

got a spare pop spec bumper to go on in the meantime as i need to drive the car daily to get to work

Image

Image

some pics of it back together.

Image

Image

Image

not nice enough weather to paint today but might start prepping the bumper and other arches, leaving the rear bumper till last.

That's the thread all up to date now, pants at updating this on here always forget
