Nice job on the paintwork! Looks perfect :) how'd you do the griffin? As I can imagine it's way too small to do any sanding preparation

What did you use to put the griffin back on. Want to do mine black. Might buy a new one as I broke the pins and totally bent it taking the last one off.

Thanks !

For the Griffin I used the tint spray I had used for my side repeaters, as you said too small for prep work really and the tint spray is designed for shiny surfaces

Haven't actually stuck in yet because I'm letting paint harden, I will just be sticking it with double sided tape like I did with my old one corsa though. Just cut around the griffin with blade that had a handle bit time consuming but works well

Yeah simple to put back on :) stick double sided tape on it and using a scalpel blade cut right towards the edge of the griffin! I had to do a lot of precision slicing similar to that when I did graphic design :P and thanks for letting me know what you used! I saw some plastikote for £6 today so may just get some of that

What double sided tape? Normal sticky tape? Want to do this but my badge on the astra goes straight onto paint, would have used super glue lol. Would get a new one with the sticky stuff on but way to expensive.

Well I've noticed on the C everything is stuck on with double sided sticky tape! I'd imagine there's some really strong kind of weather enduring version which would work well! And obviously it'll come off easier than glue when you want it off :P
