Started on my spoiler today, cleaned all the crap off it and sanded it down so it was all smooth and clean, and this was my ingenious idea for spraying
Image
I have turned the little summer house into my spray booth! :P and I have it attached to the ceiling with a screw in hook and some string to keep it from the ground :P

Image
Primer filler applied and sanded back as there were a fair few scratches and tiny weird for holes as well as chips from the old paint coming off but it's all as smooth as I can get it now :)

I am currently applying the primer so I'll update again soon

Your laying it way to thick 500ml should get 3-4 coats tbh

You have to shoot it really thin for top coat aswell because if it's the tiniest bit to thick it'll run and ruin it
If it doesn't fit,
force it,
If it breaks,
It needed replacing anyway

Could someone suggest/link me to some good cheap white headlights and sidelight bulbs please?

Today was my first experience wet sanding, my lord! The spoiler was so smooth! I found myself stroking it pervertedly xD

For the side lights just search on eBay for 501 white LEDs. Andy got a load cheap from china. Could always get a hid kit for the headlights? Andy is selling one cheap I think.

Anything with blue tint for headlights will be useless, I fitted a set a while back and I would have seen more by sticking a led torch to the bonnet, without going hid philips and osram nightbreakers are the only good halogen bulbs on the market but they'll set you back about 20 quid and Andy is selling his hids for 15 I think atm

As for sidelights 501 white Smds are what you want, leds only throw a couple lines in the headlight but Smds light the unit up

So the other week when driving back from skeggy, in what seemed torrential rain, I had to stop it was that heavy and I had to drive through a puddle that was at least a foot deep... Since then whenever I accelerate, even in neutral the car makes a strange noise almost like a kind of electric noise? Hard to explain but it sound like what I'd imagine an electric car would sound like :P any ideas?
