They would look cool in red, however my other toy already has a red and black interior...

I am thinking of going either black and white or all black with ally highlights on this one...just for something a bit different and less attractive to the constabulary :P

Either way I'm planning to resin the headlining and cloth on the door trims and painting them gloss white or black... Which do you guys think I should go with?

Agreed... The only surfaces that might end up white are those that will be able to be sprayed gloss with several coats of clear for easy whipe down... White cloth/vinyl/leather in a work vehicle would be a very bad idea :P

In other news... I can has rampz :P

When I'm done there will be an intermediate floor between the ramps & the ladder...

Started building sub-box into the back this afternoon...

Only problem was that the spacing to put both the sub and ladder where I wanted them the wall of the box was in the way of the hole slightly...
Image

A cut-out with a patch above the top of the ladder fixed it...

Now I just have to pull the whole box apart again so I can put liquid nails in all the joins :)

Made some good progress today :)

Sub install sorted & working...

And a final touch... Regrettable, but necessary given the location of the sub & the purpose of the vehicle...
Image

No I just have to finish & trim the back to stop the ramps rattling :p

Got a side/rear awning for my birthday yesterday...
Image

It moves to the back with the removal of 2 wingnuts, but will live on the side most of the time because it frees up the top of the rack for other stuff... Plus it looks nicer on the side :p

I haven't got any shots of it extended as it started pouring with rain after I took those two... I will put some better shots up in a couple of days...

Quick and dirty photochop of the new bar... I like the way the "ridges" down the corners of the bar offset the ones on the sides of the cargo area :) what do you guys think?

Hey guys,

I got the back finished today... From a functional point of view anyway... It still needs cladding & trimming, but at least I can load it now :)

Cheers guys :) glad you're enjoying the build...

I put the drivers seat in tonight, but now I have a dilemma... While I love how it looks & feels, it lifts my driving position by a couple of inches which cuts off the top of the speedo & puts the centre mirror too low in my field of view... Makes me keep stooping my neck while driving :( Any thoughts or insights??
