Hi.. just wondering if anyone can help me , I had a diagnostic code reader plugged in and its telling me knock sensor. ! My engine management light comes on when I put my foot down and get it to spin. Any answers will be appreciated.

It looks like a doughnut shape with a bolt through the middle, if I remember correctly they're positioned on the back of the engine, easier accessed from under the vehicle between cylinders.

Maybe one of the top members on here can help you further but at least you got a reply

You might have a miss fire and that is what your knock sensor is picking up that could be caused by a spark plug fault or coil pack fault

very very late reply ino! but have forgotton too come on here and update!
it turns out the management light was on as the engine had the wrong wiring i.e engine year and wiring loom were different years! was fixed within 10minutes of working that out LOL!
Since this has been fixed my corsa has been a very good car.. people say vauxhalls aint very good well ill argue with that i am debaiting on my selling my corsa though lol. i cannot keep a car longer than 6months ahaha..

so have ya decided on to keep the corsa or ya selling mate

Atm im keeping it. Kinda starting too like it. Its a little pocket rocket. Its going too be sorned on monday few things I wanna do to it b4 taxing it again.
