Found my tyre size, going for 175/60/15. Think i might need spacers as the rim just grazes my coilover rolled my front arches and it actually makes quite a difference. Going to have to get abit of camber going i think or raise my car a touch. Hopefully it will all work out.

Spent over 3 hours sanding down 1 rusty a$$ rim. Primed it and gave it 2 coats of red (looks orange in the picture for some reason)

You not worried about it popping with that much stretch?

Will look awesome when there fitted though:)
Don't leave the rim in primer though because I made the mistake of doing it and it rusts through the primer again

Its just primed now so the steel don't rust until I get them blacked up I actually don't have a rediculous stretch but its just enough for me cheers lad. 180 wasn't a bad price since they cost 50 a corner round here.

Yeah the steel can rust through primer, I had steel wheels I was painting for a mate and after spending hours sanding I primed them, came back the next weekend to find them covered in rust again

First time I looked I. Wouod have swore it had more stretch it actually just looks good

That was a scrap tyre I was practicing on. Cheers for the heads up about the rust, glad I'm only doing 1 at a time now lol

Any tips on adjusting rear drum brakes? Got a huge imbalance and one side is pulling half as much as the other.

It is common for pistons to stick on the trailing shoe. Well worth a swap out both sides. They may not leak but they may be drawing water and air in.

I already replaced both cylinders and shoes the other day lad.

I wud say ya need to adjust the self adjuster in the drum mate to sort the imbalance mine had less hold for its mot adjusting that sorted the problem

Cheers. So that means takimg the drum off and adjusting it then refitting the drum. But how do i know when its adjusted correctly?

You can adjust them from the bolt hole on the drum, there's no real way of telling when there perfect without a machine but you'll get it fairly close by just the feeling of them

It's just a matter of shinning a torch threw the hole and find the adjuster and flick it with a flat head screwdriver, it is easy to do but it might take 10-50 tries to get it right
