Me & My More Door, The Little Blue Beast

Post by BigBenson14 »

Hi all,

Joined the forum recently and just thought i'd start a thread where i can upload the progress of my first car. I've had this car since September last year when i bought it off of a colleague at work, he'd already bought his next car and wanted to get rid quick, so it was mine for £300!

Yes it's a piece of sh** but it's my piece of sh** ;)

There's some slight rust on the body work which i'll eventually get round to sorting but other than that the car's pretty solid. I'm not too sure exactly how i want to go about modding the car at the minute; currently i'm just doing some small mods/repairs but i aim to push the boundaries a little sooner or later.

So far i've fitted bluetooth , colour coded some of the interior trim, and given the engine bay a good clean.

Apprentice wage is next to nothing at the minute, so as when i get the funds i'm slowly going to keep going. The next thing i'm thinking is remote locking & electric windows as i'm getting sick of forgetting to lock my car

I've just bought an accident damaged 1.4i Corsa off eBay (gonna' collect it soon), i aim to do an engine conversion using the that car as a donor! The rest of the car will be stripped and sold if anyone needs any bits PM me. I'll put a post up about it sooner or later:)

Looks a good base to start with:) look forward to the updates on it
If it doesn't fit,
force it,
If it breaks,
It needed replacing anyway

Thanks man! I used halfords primer, and Arden blue paint which you can pick up for about a £10, then I had some lacquer lying around which I finished it off with :)

That looks pretty sick actually mate, you say you've carbon fiber wrapped the door pillars? that doesn't sound like a bad idea, you've done a good job on the paint though, i like it :)
