Dom's Red B

Post by Domwhitex »

Hi my names Dom and ive just bought myself a 93 corsa b which has been living in a garage for 15 years with central heating pipes, its immaculate had it checked over by a professional family member, but i was looking for some ideas of what i could do to it to make it look a little better and maybe afew tips on how to do some of those things, when i do things to it i'll post it in the project log, i was already set on getting the bumpers sprayed red same as the car but as ots a 93 the grill is combined into the front bumper which is annoyed and i didnt know what to do about that, but anyway thanks to anyone who posts ideas and pictures of ideas thanks!

Welcome to the site mate:)

Car looks very tidy for its age, look forward to see what you do with it
If it doesn't fit,
force it,
If it breaks,
It needed replacing anyway

Not sure yet whether to spray the bumpers red or just buy post 97 ones and get a badgeless grill, want it lowered 60mm and some 15" alloys on it and maybe the spoiler

You got any tips for removing the rub strips on the side, and for the badges on the back

They just peel off with a knife, but you will need a toffee wheel and alot of work to get the glue all off, if you have a detailer close ask there to see what they recommend

Is it hard to do then in your two's opinion? And this car what do you think if i debadged the back sprayed the bumpers took the rub strips off but left the wing mirrors black and got black alloys?

I think its just time consuming lol. Most do a complete debadge. I would spray bumpers arches and my mirrors are black but see what ya think when finished the rest but black wheels sound good or you could go white :)
