Satin red 1.2 8v.

Post by JordanCorsaB »

I had another project thread on here but it was all muddled up and the stuff I had previously done to it has all been removed or improved on so thought I'd start another :)

This is how it started..
Image

Then I had my rear arches, and rear bumper done at the body shop.
Image

Rev counter clocks.
Image

New door and wing as mine had rust and huge dents.. Also tigra wheels and coilovers fitted at this point.
Image

Side view
Image

All the underside has been under sealed now.. Springs and rear shocks are next to be cleaned up.
Image

Depos.
Image

Front bumper and front arches colour coded by the body shop.. Also badge less grille too.
Image
Image
Image

Pressed plate on the fron with Velcro so nice and clean finish..
Back plate is going on after the boots been smoothed.. Just keeping the plate recess.
Image

New wheels.. Cavalier expression being painted with silver lip and body coloured centers.
Image

Side view on the drive
Image

Sits high at the back definitely going lower when I have my other wheels on!
Image

Still more to add yet :)
Mike: OMG!! It's so slick!! Looks so... smooth! It's on par with the missus' breasts to be fair mate.

Car looks awesome mate, you have done a top job :)

Dont thiink the wheels will suit it, look to old school imo
If it doesn't fit,
force it,
If it breaks,
It needed replacing anyway

Second part...
I now have a full black interior bar the dashboard but I'm not changing that.. Here's the vectra handles:) I have an electric window kit to go in but that's not going in yet.

Smoked astra repeaters
Image

Found a dash mat in the scrappy :)
Image
Image

New fan and radiator
Image

New battery tray
Image

Painted a few expressions :)
Image

The car has a full sport interior and also a gsi wheel now :)
Image

Image

I trail fitted my expressions I've still got 3 more to do but I think they should look great :)

I did this bad photoshop of how I'm having my boot too :)
Image

I've done some engine bay tidying on my 1.2 and also some paint splattering I know most people wouldn't like it but I thought I'd have a go and I like it tbh.

Thanks mate appreciate it, really can't wait to crack on with it.. Been in my dad's garage for 2 and a half years! Haven't been up to his house for a while because I'm always away with work.
