Well it may be time to take the head off :( hopefully there's not to much damage
If it doesn't fit,
force it,
If it breaks,
It needed replacing anyway :thumbs:

It depends what your after power wise,

Since your already wired and set up for it an x18xe will bolt in to the x14xe mounts and will see 120hp, 130-140 with a decent set of mods

Or go for a redtop and see 150 standard, I'd do 1.8 just to be different from the rest of the big engine corsa's


1.8 will just bolt in aswell but the 2.0 is abit of work to fit

X18xe it is then, will I need to swap the x14xe loom over to?

I would go x18.. Shame about the con rod but onto bigger and better things eh ;)

The loom in the car will do, just need the ecu and chip for the key

90's vectra b or very early astra coupe should have one :)

Just make sure it's cable throttle and it's probably a x18xe

I've managed to come across a vectra b 1.8 16v engine (x18xe1) will it fit the corsigra?

I'm 99% sure there are only Internal differences between the xe and xe1 so it should fit :)
