My 1995 C14SE sport is using coolant at the rate of a pint (.5Ltrs) every 300 miles (500KKm). it doesn´t use any oil and there is nothing droping onto the road. It IS maintaing pressure in the system even after a few hours there is a hiss when undoing the header tank cap.
There is no rise in temp. it stays cool all the time.
New radiator, (now the air-con leaks :( )
New pump
New belts.
New head gasket kit
New header tank
Some new hoses inc the one at the rear from the water pump.

???? :?

check your carpets, could be a slight leak on the heater matrix,

is the smoke coming out of your exhaust white? if so, your egr valve may be knackered or faulty or dirty. just a possibility

Carpets are dry, C14SE doesn't have an EGR valve.

You probably checked. But I had a similar problem, was losing coolant at a slow rate, mined turned out to be the faintest of dribbles from lower hose and the fan switch

FOUND IT! slight dribble from under the top hose to engine joint. now only uses a very little which with 130Km a day highway and temps in the high 30s not surprising. Oil consumption is still only 1L per 7.500 km. not bad for a 1995 car on original rings. Drive 'em hard, drive 'em longer.

Still being thrashed 90 miles a day. But lately lost bottom power, still revs OK but pulling up a hill can be problem, fitted new inlet hose and changed existing air temp sensor over to new which has been OK.
New plugs and air filter made no difference. New air sensor and leads on the way.
Anyone had similar problem?

Coolant temp sensor
Or your head gasket might be on its way out

See how the new leads go before changing lots of bits. Old leads can cause weak sparks which means a loss of power under load.

If you loosing coolant with no signs of s leak I would say it's your head gasket
The water jacket leaking into the cylinder my vectra had the same problem until it finally blow
