Corsa B aftermarket immobilizer problem

Hi all,

I'm hoping someone can help me, I'm currently in Australia and trying to fix a '96 Corsa B (Holden Barina as they're known over here) changed the O2 sensor, so decided it'd be a good idea to leave the battery off overnight to reset the ECU... little did I know the car had an active alarm and immobilizer

I've managed to trace the alarm cables into the driver footwell, and have gone through and disconnected some of the wires. In doing this I've managed to figure out which is for the sensors and also central locking(?), but have had no luck finding out how the immobilizer is hooked up. At this stage I just want to disable the immobilizer and alarm altogether - if possible?!

Here's some photos of the setup, hoping someone can help as can't afford the extortionate rates of an auto electrician here in Oz!

I didn't want to post directly in here as the pics are huge
Thanks in advance for any replies!!!

Again folks, just be carefull on this question, sounds a little dodgey to me. There seems to be an increase in people asking how to dissable alarms and imobileisers on cars, like i said before, my mate has seen this happen all over the Fiat Forums.

here is the other corsa topic im concerned about. http://forums.corsa-b.co.uk/viewtopic.p ... 97#p138397

These questions could be genuine, but better to be safe.

Hi,

Sorry, this was a genuine question, I've since found a fix elsewhere by following a guide for a Mercedes immobiliser, completely understand concerns/reasons for not wanting to post a reply though!
Mods - please close/delete this thread.

Thanks,
