My current insurance runs out in the next few months, Im looking to buy a 1.6sport around the time my insurance is about to end.
Ill be 21 and have 3 no claims by this time. I have recently moved house and using my dads address which around 6miles from my address the
quote is incredibly lower due to the postcode/area. Insuring my car at my dads address when my car is hardly there and i don't genuinely live there
is ilegal as im doing this purely for saving money purposes. Can you get away with this easily?. Can anyone shine any light on this????????????????

Its ilegal but if anything happened to your car at your house just say it was parked here over night, say you usualy leave it at your dads house or something

Cheers for the reply pal. Im getting quoted at my dads £1550 and it's like £600 more at my house. So it's illegal but the chances of getting caught are very slim? if so, that will do for me
