just an idea on the yougurty stuff.. i thought it could be crankcase running to much pressure causing like vapour and making the yougurty stuff and if oil leak is crankseal that could suggest that crankcase pressure has maybe blown that seal. im sure crankseal is a common fault thou at the flywheel end... just a thought id throw across an idea

how would you adjust the pressure ?
the cars about 13 year old tho, so id say the seals are packing in and its just time to change them, seems like common issue with corsa b.

I think what you might be talking about is the Crankcase ventilation? and if that's blocked then you will have a slight pressure build-up, which could in-turn put pressure on the front/rear Crankshaft oil seals which is why you have that oil leak at the bottom of your gear box, but the cause of the yogurty sh*t is when somehow coolant is leaking into an oil passage (Head gasket could be one cause) and then is circulating around the car and over time the oil and the coolant will dissolve into one another and you get that,
Another example could be when you see some old milling machines, and lathes they use a mixure of oil and water to cool it down while you using it, and it looks exactly the same if oil and coolant mix together in an engine, I wish i'd taken a picture of when i drained my oil on my re-build, it was light brown and came out like water.

Mock up of how id like the engine bay to look like when i get around to it...
(induction kit would fit in nicely to replace that air box on the left)

yeah thats what i mean, but like if breathers are blocked then pressure in crankcase is like steamy an can cause oil to go yougurty, asif the head gasket had gone like! and i myt have a picture somewhere as i brought a redtop other day with porous head and drained coolant and was kinda like choco milkshake

Has anyone tried that guide on here, that talks about removing the black wire from the clock display, so that when you have a custom radio installed when you turn it on normaly the date goes blank, but in the guide it says if you remove the black wire, the date should stay on. ??

Got the Tigra Scuttle in the post today, il check the condition when i get home and post a wee pic when i get it fitted.
Gona order some Aero wipers to finish the look of it and still have to re-spray the wiper arms as the paint has flaked off. Thinking Matt or Satin black.

Also if i cant get a GSI bumper any time soon, was considering drilling hole into my bumper. fitting this and running a pipe up into a Induction filter.

Yea, its just the full set of gaskets, and the tool kit for timing with new head bolts.
I'm sourcing parts myself, and when i have them all il go about striping and cleaning the engine.
I wont need to hire the engine crane, a mate in work said i can have a lend of one he has so happy days.
