hey i am currently driving a corsa and i looked it up on the internet today and on a lot of different sites it says its group 7?
if this is true then i dont understand why, i know there 70odd hp because of there poo ecotech engines but still its not going to keep up with a saxo vtr which is also group 7!
does this mean if i changed to a saxo vtr would the insurance be the same price because they are both in the same insurance group or is the engine size taken into consideration? Would rather have the corsa of course but at only 70k its burning a LOT of oil and is about time to get rid.
any advice would be appreciated thanks from luke

ive found out anyway, Yeah the corsa is a group 7 and so is the vtr but insurance groups are rough catergorys and not all cars in the same insurance group are the same to insure. Vtr is obviously more to insure lol stupid question...

what youve probably done is compared the 1.2 new insurance group system to the vtr's old insurance system
old system = 1-20
new system = 1-50
