Insurance for young drivers ?

Can any 1 recomend a good insurance company for young drivers ? cheapest quote i have had so far is elephant at £2500!!!

i found e-car gd for my first year driving was £1442

there is another company called "i-kube" which is ment to be cheap (saved my mate a grand) only catch is you cant drive your car past 11 at night or before 5 in the morning

just phoned them up! for a corsa b 1.4 sport 2000 reg got qouted 2500 but they said if i put somone on my policy like my dad it usally brings it down so put my dad on and got qouted 1900
im 19 past my test 2 weeks ago and this is with pass plus, for 3rd party fire and theft i was getting qouted 2900 on other w**k sites

thats not as bad as 3800 4 a 1.2 8v and if they new about 3 points 9k? lol.

my mate is with i'kube, meant to be good you get two weeks before they put tracker on your car, my mate just turnt 18 after almost a year of driving on a vtr wi loads of engine mods for 1600 fully comp

I dnt have the list of the cheapest insurance companies but I would like to inform that also make sure to read the terms and conditions before applying for the insurance as the cheapest rate might have some catch too which you can regret later.

Bell was cheap for me, pay monthly £165 a month, 1.4 LS Auto. first car.

Express insurance for me on a 1.0lt is £156 amonth on a 1.4 sport its 240 amonth! Im 22 got 3 poins driving 3 years never had a crash but never kept a policy :/ i always swapped cars in months as i get bored!!
2.0lt redtop wouldnt fit down the chimney so santa gave me socks :(
