fuel prices

f**k just cost me £50 to fill my car up! to make things worse it only runs on hi-octane stuff
i know oil prices have gone up but thats rediculous!

just thought it would be intresting to see what prices people are paying throught the country,

Cheapest place round here is Sainburys at £1.20
dearest place is JET at £1.27
i filled up at tescos at £1.22 (since saiburys dosnt sell hi-octane stuff)

please post your fuel prices ta :)

its £1.20 at both my local petrol stations, its a complete rip off. we need to do sumit.........but wot?
OFFICAL DVLA DATA:
1414 - corsa gsi's on the road in 2008.
735 - corsa gsi's currently on the road and 436 SORN
Basicly you would have to be a right tw*t to break one for parts :rant:

best bet is to buy from supermarkets rather than bp, or jet garages
cnt really stop buying it, or wer walking everwaye lol

its average of £1.23 round mine.

Now what can I say about fuel prices. If the users of the car will be increases then oil business tycoons increase the price to take profit more and more. And the real fact is, fuel cost maximum 10% of our price of it. So this is more then 100% benefit for dealers.

70% of the price you pay is fuel duty tax and VAT
so say its £1 a liter 70p is tax so with that in mind petrol is quite cheap, its the tax that makes it expensive!
BTW up to £1.25 at our local total for excellium

cheapest round stoke area is 1.17 i've seen, bit cheaper than round your way
