Haha cheers mate.

A bit more done on the car.

I cleaned up the steering rack and sprayed it satin black.

I also ordered some stick on storm guard for the pedal plate due to the old foam seal being blasted off when the plate was powder coated.

I got my tank back from the powder coaters.

And the cage is back. The job I've been dreading was putting the cage in without marking the paint. I got it in with the help of my old man scuff free :)

I'll get the front end in next week on my day off then I can start offering up the dash to make cuts :)

Cheers mate. It's coming together nicely now.

My nova rack bushes turned up today so I had 10mins and fitted the rack. I was looking into solid mounts but they tend to be very harsh and there is a feel of vibration through the steering wheel which would do my head in driving over to Germany which is what I plan to do with the car.
Anyway.. They needed a slight adjustment to the inside flange of each bush with a sharp blade and they fit spot on and very very tight.

A little bit done today.

I got the rest if the cage in.

I also decided to try some 3M carbon wrap off eBay. Never used it before and wondered what it would look like on the pro-tech slam panel. I'm happy with how it looks :)

I then got carried away and ditched the carling can on the coil lol

That's it for now. Going to offer the dash up and start cutting round the cage so I can get it sent off for flocking.
