this bloody weather (warning this post may contain rants)

Post by rick »

just finished work and i decided yesterday to take the car tonight as its getting cold and i\'d rather drive cold than walk cold. but me being me i forgot about frost i was stood out in the carpark with a scraper and a tin of de-icer for about ten mins then i had to stop half way home to clean the ice off the INSIDE of the windscreen. it would have been quicker to just walk. luckiy the next time i\'m working linz is in so i can talk her into keeping an eye on our cars with the engines running for 10 mins b4 we finish

tbh it doesnt really bother me... except for complete idiots in there car

was going for a drive through the wirral with the missus the other night when it was hailing & snowing a bit more up this end...

some fool in a clio was trying to \'race\' me from the lights... absolutely no traction so he didnt get anywhere, yet i just puled off slowly & without going over 2krpm i still beat him :|

saw him 10 mins later half through a wall... fool :|

messed with the engine & got it as quick as the SRi\'s - was quite impressed :D

engine blew up a few months later... 3 times infact... :(

no im still gettin used to it

i remember the old 1.4 would easy do about 90-odd, but struggle to reach 110 on the dials, yet the GSI it seems to cruise at 110... topped it at about 127-ish on a private road of course ;)
