It shouldn\'t make much of a differance to your insurance mate.

Try using this website to get an idea of how it will affect it:- http://www.autotrader.co.uk/CARS/motori ... centre.jsp

Give your insurance company a call and ask how an exhaust modification will affect your premium.

If your a young driver n your planning on moddin your car dnt bother going for a popular insurance group like direct line! They\'ll rip ya off! I was with norwich union last year with a 1.4 sri L reg 19 years old 1 years no claims n third party i waz paying £1000. Then i bought a 1.6 16v sport n they said under no circumstances will they insure me on that engine till im 21!!!!!!! so i canceled it an rang Adrian flux out of max power. They said £900 on the 1.6 sport!!!!!!! thts cheaper than norwich union with a bigger engine????? Try adrian flux m8 they\'ll sort u out!!!!!

My first year on my insurance with all mods declaired, the main driver, mum as the owner was £1550 with tesco (The only people who would insure me). After the first year, they gave me 2 years no claims bonus and my new premium was £1000. Heard about adrian flux so tried them to see if they could beet my renewal, and they said in excess of £2000 !!! which was more than my very first premium with tesco!

adrian flux quoted me £3,300 for my 1.6 corsa sport, and I am 18 with one years NCB.... and that was for third party! Insurers really do seem to vary, I am with quinn direct, who insured me for £1,100 tp,f&t, but i don\'t know how they react to mods, either way its worth checking em out
