i got a 1.4 sport dun 104,000m so i expect a bit of slop from the gearlinkig and shift but its geting ridicles when in gear it could be nutral it moves so much the gearbox is fine its the linkig is there anyway to fix it like gust chang some bits in the plasic cage i heard something about new poly bushes being made up and its bin sugested i get a quik shift but i dont wont to do that its fin like it gust need tightening up if u got any sugestons would be grate

new box from the scrappy or take it to a garage n see what they think

Might just need replacement cup and ball bush on linkage. They are very bad for wear on higher mileage cars, we sell loads of em at work. They are only about £5 for a kit from Vauxhall.
