alarm question

im looking for somewhere i can buy a toad ai606 as everywhere i look seems to sell it with fitting, also are there any similar spec alarms im overlooking

Your best bet is ebay - most alarms/immobilisers require a VSIB certificate to get the Cat 1/2 status, hence selling it with fitting.

If you\'re fitting it yourself, you can afford to get a better alarm than a Toad - go for one of the newer Clifford models.

well im lookin to get it fitted by local autoelectrian is fairly cheap

I have a trade account with Toad. I will ask them today if they sell the Alarm (without fitting) it you are looking at fitting it yourself. Bear in mind though that the warranty etc may be invalid if you fit it yourself or by an non-recommended installer?
