I tried to change my front hub earlier today, but couldn't undo the hub nut. I had the brakes on, and the wheel back on and on the ground to give it a bit more friction. I was standing on my breaker bar, all I managed to do was snap the end off of my breaker bar!
I've changed hubs and cv joints before and I've never come across one this tight before.
It looks like the only option is a windy gun??
Hub nut.

Re: Hub nut.
Did you take the split pin out?
I can't give any advise other than a bigger bar or impact gun

If it doesn't fit,
force it,
If it breaks,
It needed replacing anyway

Re: Hub nut.
Stronger head on the bar. Those nuts do be stupid tight (for good reason I suppose).

Did it snap the head of the bar or the bar itself? If you can replace the head the replacements are usually stronger.
