Any ideas??

Hi all i brought one of these to add usb to my car. Other than using a lighter socket usb.

I was thing in the glovebox but forgot i wouldnt be able to take the glovebox out afterward.

Any idea where i could put it?

How about behind the ash tray, cut groves for the wires to poke through. Iv done that before for aux/power to my phone

They can also be hidden when not in use by closing the ash tray

If the car has an ash try it should have the hole
For a cig lighter but will be blanked off with a
Rubber grommet and the wires should be taped
To the loom

It does have a cig lighter, Iv got one of them things that plugs in the socket but it doesnt fit properly.
I would prefer have usb permanently installed.

Put it in the glove oz like u originally planned attached the transformer to the back of the glove box then leave 300mm of wire coming from that with insulated spade connectors connecting it to the transformer. That way if you need to remove the glove box you have a foot of play to pull the glovebox forwards and disconnect it

Use these to keep the transformer and wire attached to the back of the glovebox. Can get them cheaper and different sizes too. They're great for keeping a wiring loom hidden too

Remove the cig lighter and get the 2 outlet USB socket and swap it with the cig lighter
