[HELP - HU Wiring] Alpine CDA-9830 with bare wires

Post by fudleone »

Dear all,

my predicament for today. i have the above Head Unit. the connector wire however does not have an ISO connector or similar.

i went to Halfords and bought an ISO male -> Bullets.

Is the best way to make the connection to Hard Wire/Solder???

I\'ve heard bullets aren\'t the best way of making the connection.

Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers,

ive had head units in the past that ive cut and soldered the wires on, i think best thing is to have some sort of connection that you can undo if needed really, i dont go all that on the iso-connector blocks simply cos they are so big and awkward to fit behind the headunit.
but i cant see any problem with bullet crimps.
