Not sure what else to do now - saving for a new car as I don't think there's much more potential in this short of an engine transplant

There is potential in the engine but it's not cost effective, it's cheaper to swap the engine for 1.4 or 1.6
If it doesn't fit,
force it,
If it breaks,
It needed replacing anyway :thumbs:
