Re: Astra coupe bertone :D
Ok little update again just to kids keep you guys updated...
Eventually got the new bunker bar fitted, it's sat 2 inches out on the passenger side due to the damage but it's on, in turn it's also helped the bumper to sit rite and stop rubbing the drivers side wheel.
Also had it plugged after it's been misfiring and running terrible on three cylinders losing power and all sorts and came back with these:
P0100 - Mass or volume air flow circuit low input C-10
P0130 - Circuit High Voltage (Bank 1 Sensor 1) C-30
P0170 - Rich Exhaust C-30 / Lean Exhaust C-30
P0352 - ignition coil 2 High Input B-23 / Ignition Coil 2 Incorrect Signal B-23
Now my coil pack was dead anyways it had snapped in cylinder 1 and the plugs were disgusting even though there done less than 4/5k miles so a trip to GMF and £81.36 later...
So set about fitting them, only a 10 minute job..easy rite...
Touch wood it's running beautiful again for the moment... I'll be claiming off my insurance for it of course beings its all gone to pot since being hit.
Also put the engine cover on:

Re: Astra coupe bertone :D
Little update... Decided to sell the turbo wheels after someone scratched them wasn't forking out to re paint them.
Also decided I hated the white engine cover so changed it to yellow instated...
Also got my double din centre console back...let's just say it's not what I expect... Needs a LOT of work...
Cuts ain't strait... Fibre glass is poor and the bottom bit is out... So looks like it's going in the bin... .
On a different note spoken to my insurance and things are finally beginning to moving along, had the car assessed and valued by nationwide yesterday on Cardiff, so wait now to see what happens.

Re: Astra coupe bertone :D
They always make it look a lot bit you can ask for salvage parts to be use
They wrote my coupe off the other year due to the price of the bumpers and said it needs a slight pull at the front
Seems to be standard these days putting it down for the pull
It makes you think what are cars made of these days

Nice job dude! I really like the look of this car, I've never been to fond on this car itself but this has just completely tipped my opinion now! Man it's a shame about them wheels! I know how you feel tbh, I have my spoiler hanging from the roof in the summer house at my mums house but I've padlocked it up and took the key while I'm at the gf's so neither of my younger brothers can get in and mess up my progress

Is200 sports are pretty thirsty. We got something stupid like 15miles to a tenner doing rings.
