Damn those kids!

Just got back from Vauxhall with a quote...

Basically when I got back to work after dinner, about 45mins later I get a call saying my wing mirror was on the floor... Ok I thought, probs just someone knocked it off, I\'ll just clip it back on...

WRONG

Some little Scrote had kicked the wing mirror clean off my car, luckily the electric cables came off the mirror cleanly so no snagged wires, but the outer casing is scratched to smeg, and when trying to clip it back on the mirror, it just wont go as the mirror itself is damaed where it slots into the outer casing.

Vauxhall quoted me Â£190.53 inc. Parts & Labour to replace & fir the mirror, but luckily I dont have to pay, as the parents for the lil git who did it do!

Even so, it comes to something when you can\'t even park up in work & not worry about it

first off we didnt know who it was, someone just said that the mirror was on the floor, but later on after I had taken it, some kid was seen giggling with his m8 & looking at the car, and this was during lesson time & they had no need to be where they were, so there both being called up infront of the head tomorrow.

whatever happened to standing and looking at cars then thinking \"when i\'m older i want one of those\" someone should invent a cctv system for inside cars that way when someone damages it you\'ll know who to chemically castrate

I was thinking the same the other day

well result! The kid has come forward on his own & admitted damaging the car by playing footy with the wing mirror...

I gave the school the repair estimate from Vauxhall & there forwarding the details to the kids parents & will hopefully have this resolved soon!

I\'m not paying for the damage, that I do know!
