The cat was hunting again last night & I chased him round the garden trying to get this off him... I originally thought it was dead, but it was \'barely\' alive... taking 1 breath every 10 seconds or so, so as we don\'t know where he got it from I couldnt put it under a tree or something & the way it was it wasn\'t going to survive the night if I did, so going against what my mum said about snapping its neck
I made a little \'nest\' for it to sleep in & left it in the airing-cupboard overnight to see if it recovered or not, as I\'d rather give it a chance than just no chance as I have a thing for birds...Checked it thismorning & it was moving about, alot more lively than last night & also its eyes were open, so I took it the local vets & said can they do anything & said its 50/50 as its got a few injuries (cut on its side cos of the cat) but thats all, and I\'m gona go back after work to see if it made it or not, as they said if its badly injured beyond what they can do, they will have to put it down
but they said it seem\'d lively enough & it also had a poo on my hand when I was putting new paper in the box for it thismorning 
But hopefully it will be fit enough for the vets to do something!
