LEGAL HELP PLEASE

Hi,

I have just recieved a fine and 3 points for 'texting on my phone whilst driving' when in fact I glanced at my phone when it lit up when recieving a call - I DID NOT PICK IT UP NOR ANSWER THE PHONE AT ALL.

The officer would not let me argue with his decision and oddly, he did not ask for my license, insurance or anything.

What can I do? Am I breaking the law by glancing at my phone?

Extremely frustrated with the officer and it seems really wrong that he can accuse me of something he clearly not see me doing - even if I was using the phone, which I was not.

Please help I really appreciate any replies

contact your operator (02 orange etc.) ask them for the list of calls made and recieved etc. if your luckey it might show that you didnt answer the call, if so take it to the police station and tell the wankers where to go.

they seem to be stopping alot of people lately with the build up 2 christmas, i and a few friends have been stopped in the last few days and all they have done is gone over the cars with a fine tooth come, silly bastards cudnt find anything thou.

and if you dont have the call log change the date and time in your fone to the time just before they pulled you get some one to ring you dont asnwer then change time back will be in your fone log then use that as evidence
