6 hours spread out between motorways, country lanes, night driving and extreme weather conditions. But most just concentrate on the first two.

I were gonna do it, until my mate let me follow him on the motorway, passplus is shocking imo.

oh and by the way, something they dont tell you- the more quotes you get from the same site/company the more the price goes up, i got my very first quote on a provisional it was 540 and 1200 after passing, but now they have both doubled,

the moral of this storie- when you buy your insurence either ring up or use a different email address and u'll get a cheaper quote ( it works for me)
Ecar is what i insured my 1.2 sxi under for a year by myself is £1580 ;) give them a try m8 (Y)

dnt reccomend goin third party m8, insurance companies arnt stupid if u crash u WILL have a hard time getting them to pay out.. as they will want to know why you was driving and how often and this has been known to take up to sevral months with certain insurance companies.
just best to go on ur own m8, im 18 and i got insured with Ecar when i was 17 on my 1.2 Sxi for £1580 ;) with no pass plus of nothing, so give em a try m8. and if u can be the main driver (Y)

goodluck :)

Yeah, did a few quotes and Ecar is the cheapest.

Tip of the day:
Ring them up directly and argue the toss, they'll drop the price to not loose custom. Dont pay the highest price.

Well, if you go onto like Confused.com and find your cheapest quote, it could well be Ecar, then ring them up say you had a quote for, i dunno; £1300 (but obviously your quote) then just say that you didn't want to pay that much, if they dont drop the price (but they should) then ask if you could have some free roadside assistance and windscreen cover. You should get something for free, as all insurance companies want your money.

Remember you could lower your annual mileage, that drops your price some aswell.

Hope this helps,

Mike.

for my w reg corsa 1.0l i was provisionally insured for £650 a year with quinn tpft. when i passed my test 3 weeks later it went up to £1000. then i did my pass plus and they knocked it down to £800.

my renewal is due 1st april and cant get a quote of quinn just yet but i did some quotes online and i can get a quote for £780 fully comp

that sounds good tbh
