I done the roof or my Corsa black with a roller lol. And done the bumpers and arch trims with a paintbrush. I used a €7 tin of aldi's finest metalcare paint lol.

That's how it looked after I done it but I didn't lacquer it and it faded after awhile to this:


I had crashed it at that stage and changed the bumper wing and headlight. I started messing about with spray cans then as you can see lol.

Haha no bad all my trims is sprayed just the car is rollered not going be everyone's choice but it's freshened it up

Only thing I don't like about roller painting a car is they all come out with a textured look, yours doesn't look anywhere near as bad as most I've seen, I didn't even see the texture until I zoomed in on it so I think it should turn out pretty good

Got another 2 coats on today since it was sunny





So that's It for a week or 2 then I can flatten it give another coat then flatten And polish

Well had the tricky task off doing the engine bay and been at it all morning but I'm chuffed with the results fitted some stainless alen head bolts to the wing tops and battery tray





Even managed to get the pedal sensor mounted I need to just connect my cable to this somehow

Thanks dude still to flatten and another cost then flatten and polish it up. Getting there though.

On other news a seen some rear lights for sale on eBay they came today



All red rears tried them on but not to sure on them on the car



Collected 2 195/45/15s



Also bought a clifford alarm with central locking Etc

My soldiering iron arrived also



Not been able to get near the car this week been training for my cscs ticket passed that today so that's good though

So my multi meter arrived today not used one since my college days haha



So went and checked ecu plug

It's getting a live to this red wire and a switched live to this black wire





So does this mean it's probably an earth problem?

I love projects like this mate fair play to you and the quality for roller painting your car has actually come out pretty good! Did you primer the full car before you painted it or just flatten the old paint back?
