Looks a treat mate :) that's piss poor welding though [emoji38] far from the worst I've seen from a bodyshop though
If it doesn't fit,
force it,
If it breaks,
It needed replacing anyway

Electric popper on a key fob or wired to a switch inside the car [emoji38]

I'm pretty happy with the car now to be honest, no major plans left (at the moment  )

Looks mint mate :) if I'd do anything it'd be a chrome tip back box but that's being really nit picky [emoji38] 1 in 50 people would notice it tbh

You'll like this update then..

Got some brand new opel mud flaps from german eBay. I had a set before but regrettably sold them a while ago, so got some more..

Also finally properly sorted the exhaust, ever since I've had this exhaust it's always hung really low which has been gradually starting to annoy me as it looks a bit pikey. I'd bought different hangers previously which raised it slightly and made it not rattle but it still was my enough.

Bought these and sawed them in half leaving the two holes closest together which im pretty sure is not how it's meant to be but does the job as the tip is about the thickness of a 5p away from the bumper which is perfect.

and today gave the corsa its first wash in about two months, inside still needs doing mind

I like the car as it is to be honest so not many things i want to change visually now other than morettes if they come up at the right price.

I have been thinking about engine swap recently - I think an x16xe would be perfect for me but it's not something i could do myself so need to look into cost.

In the latest photos up the page the colours seem to be very off from the phone/camera i was using the car didnt even look arden blue, but i've got a new phone with a much better camera so the car actually looks arden blue rather than a washed out light blue.

Went out to take some photos earlier with the new phone.. the car was actually clean before i went out but got dirty by the time i made it to the place i took the photos.

Since the last update cars needed a new clutch, alternator, oil change and most recently a CV joint.

Image

Image

I've also bought some short pressed plates

Image

Image

Size comparison

Image

Image

Grey painted centre console had gotten scuffed up, so took that off and replaced it with a standard unpainted one which looks better anyway...

Image

Managed to partially rip an arch off, so need to get a new one and get it painted

Image

Image

And got some Morrettes

Image

Image

Image

Image

Cases in good condition really, all lugs intact...

Image

Image

Insides before

Image

Image

And cleaned up

Image

Image

Image

Cases painted gloss black

Image

Image

Also got some new dipped/high beam bulbs and side lights

Image

Image

And decided what I was going to do with the indicators, originally was going to get some for behind the grill but decided they will be too close together so went with this idea I got from another thread on here which is to mount motorbike indicators to the back of the empty inside lense

Did the measurements and bought the bits

Image

Arrived, all the right size just need the hole in the top of the mount drilling bigger to accommodate the bike indicator

Image

Indicators arrived

Image

Image

Trial of how indicators will sit

Image

Re-drilled one of the holes to fit the indicator

Image

Image

Image

And back together, with indicators :)

Image

Image

Image

Cars also having bit of trouble starting, mainly when it's warm/been running so got it plugged in and came up as being an egr valve fault so have bought a blanking plate.. Yet to fit though.

Image

Will get the Morrettes fitted soon also.

Nice weather, so fit the morettes today..

Just have to wire indicators in and adjust the alignment and they'll be done. :)
