HELP! subwoofer

Post by JamieTee_ »

Right guys got a weird one for you here.

Subs all wired in the same way as my mates, won't power it though, tried putting his sub in there and still wouldn't power, any tips on what it could be? the wiring kits brand new so don't know why it won't work at all

pretty confusing imo and baffling my head!

Do you have a multimeter or anything to test for power?
If it doesn't fit,
force it,
If it breaks,
It needed replacing anyway

You'll just have to go along the power cables till you find where the power stops
If it doesn't fit,
force it,
If it breaks,
It needed replacing anyway

Yeah I guess, hopefully it's not the fuse or anything

I'd be hoping it is a fuse  otherwise you'll be striping wires back out
If it doesn't fit,
force it,
If it breaks,
It needed replacing anyway

Hopefully just the fuse mate. Can you not pull the fuse out and have a look now?

The amps fine, it's been working before, if not just gonna get a second hand one from somewhere and see what's what with it and the fuses are all intact :(
