Having failed the ITV (MoT) on emissions and a few minor points like headlight glass was falling out and the right rear light connector was being a bitch and had to be cleaned.
The garage didn't have time to put it on the machine but said it was almost definitely the cat' so new cat. Week later even worse on retest, so then they said "must be the Lambda" so bought a lambda and took it back to the garage now they had time and it turned out to be the bloody MAF , GRRR, 140€ for nothing plus the 50€ for a used MAF and analysis.
