Can you put 40mm springs front and back on normal shocks? Just wondering as heard about it and the lowering kits are quite expensive

Yea you can but it wears the shocks out quite fast and it doesn't drive as nice as a lowering kit! My advice would be just to save your money and buy a good lowering kit

People say speed bumps are a nightmare being lowered 60mm but all you got to do is go slower... So don't sorry about being lowered 60mm

Re: 40mm springs
I found that I hit more speed bumps when my car was lowered 40 on standard shocks than when it was lowered 60 with shortened shocks
If it doesn't fit,
force it,
If it breaks,
It needed replacing anyway

Re: 40mm springs
My car is lowered 60mm on lowering springs with the standard shocks. The lad I bought it off said the car is pretty much touching the bump stops. Is this bad?
