Anybody tried this?

Post by Barraclough »

My front seatbelt's have never retracted properly. It seems to make sense the way he talks about dirt and oil stiffening up the belt as when I fully retract mine, it goes in fine until it reaches the part that actually goes over you then I have to help feed it back in. I also heard furniture polish can work. Only thing about the detergent method is drying it out.
Here's the vid

I've never heard of detergent but I have used furniture polish before and it definitely works a treat but doesn't last for a very long time, I'd say the detergent is a better job because it fixes the problem instead of covering it

I might try it next time there a nice warm day

If it doesn't fit,
force it,
If it breaks,
It needed replacing anyway

I'm impressed, used furniture polish and it actually worked. I'm thinking the same about the detergent, it's just the drying out which we don't have the weather for at the min. Here's before and after videos to show how well it's worked.
