Centre console lighting

Hi guys, anyone know how to take off the centre console where the dials are to put decent blue lights behind it, want it lighting up really well as the guy who had it before me might as well of had a candle there, and does anyone know what kind of light is best there, thanks

Push both vents down and there's 2 screws under there. Pull the knobs off and the slider thing and there's a plastic long bit there to that pulls off and 2 more screws under that. Putting it back together isn't very fun!!

Yea been reading its abit of a pain but it will be worth doing, is it special LEDs you put there or just normal average ones? Obviously going for blue

think I might do behind the clocks too as its been done but they are dull, think I'll need a full day spending doing it tho

There should be kits on eBay with enough to do all that as well as the speedo bulbs.

No sure as I buy them from halfords only because the cheaper ones don't seem as bright
